Richard Murphy

Richard Murphy is a poet and educator who has taught writing and literature for more than 30 years. He is guest lecturer at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. His critical essays have appeared in The International Journal of the Humanities; Journal of Ecocriticism; Reconfigurations: A Journal for Poetics Poetry / Literature and Culture; and New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing; and others. His 11th book, Prophet Voice Now (essays), was published by Common Ground Research Network. When writing essays for peer-reviewed journals, Richard’s interests include a global concern for the humanities. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Boston University.
