Bridey McGlynn
Bridey McGlynn (she/her) is a painter based in Boston, MA. She received her MFA in 2D Fine Art from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and her BFA in Studio Arts from Syracuse University. She currently works as an Administrative Assistant in Academic Affairs at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. McGlynn’s work has been exhibited across the Northeast, including New Talent at Alpha Gallery, Boston, MA; The 87th Regional Exhibition of Art and Craft at the Fitchburg Art Museum, Fitchburg, MA; the 2025 National Prize Show at the Cambridge Art Association, Cambridge, MA; the 2026 International Juried Exhibition at The Center for Contemporary Art, Bedminster, NJ; and Current at the Kehler Liddell Gallery, New Haven, CT. In Spring 2026, she also debuted her first solo exhibition, titled Expanded Bodies, at ArtsWorcester in Worcester, MA. Additionally McGlynn is a recipient of the ArtsWorcester 2023 Material Needs Grant, the 2025 George Nick Prize, and a Lending Artist in the deCordova Corporate Art Loan Program.
