Description: This course provides an overview of the business structures, power dynamics, and economic systems shaping the art world. Moving beyond a traditional “professional practice” focus, this course examines the various business models and objectives that drive the industry, including galleries, auction houses, art advisories, art agencies, art fairs, and other key market players. Through case studies, guest speakers, and general business analysis, students will gain practical insights as they explore the range of careers that define the art world.
