  • Live meetings
  • Live critiques

Drawing can open up new ways of seeing the world around you. Whether you are at early stages of developing your drawing abilities, or you maintain a regular drawing practice, this course will meet you where you are and provide the support you need to expand your approach to drawing. Hands-on exercises, drawing sessions, writing prompts, presentations, and critiques are all designed to activate your visual perception and help you translate what you see using elements of line, shape, texture, and tone. We will explore a range of representational and abstract approaches using a variety of references including items of personal significance, memories, experiences, and cardboard forms you create during class.

This class meets in person on campus at MassArt.
