Stacey began her creative career as a performing artist in Chicago and Los Angeles and launched her entrepreneurial journey in 2010 when she moved from LA to New York City to lead the conception and implementation of the New York Screen Actors Guild Foundation (now SAG-AFTRA Foundation). In four years, she tripled active membership, increased programming by 400%, hired and led a team that delivered over 350 no-cost events per year, and facilitated the opening of the state-of-the-art New York Actors Center in the heart of Lincoln Center.  She collaborated on the feasibility study that led to the opening of the Robin Williams Center for Entertainment and Media, an educational home for New York artists.

Most recently, she served as the Director of Venture Sustainability at Leadership for Educational Equity where she designed and implemented a national fellowship program and venture fund for civic entrepreneurs. In this role, she provided executive coaching, designed and facilitated curriculum for in-person trainings and online learning modules, and helped secure fiscal support for a portfolio of first-time organizational leaders.

Stacey has designed and delivered courses on Public Speaking and Design Thinking for a number of academic institutions and social good organizations.  As a public speaking coach, she has worked with leaders across the country on their organizational narratives, pitch competitions, keynote speaking engagements, investor meetings, and more.

Stacey graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Performance Studies from Northwestern University and holds a Masters in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute.  Learn more: GallawayConsultingGroup.com
