Petra Szilagyi

Petra Szilagyi is an installation artist and scholar working at the intersection of materiality and the supernatural. They have exhibited commissioned works at Mass MoCA, Socrates Sculpture Park, the Wassaic Project, and throughout the United States. An acolyte of Buddhism and Ifa, they have been an artist as well as a spiritual resident at PerforCraze Residency in Kumasi, Ghana; the Center for Contemporary Arts in Lagos, Nigeria; and Dhamma Dena in Joshua Tree, California. They received their MA in Studio Art from Williams College and their MFA in Sculpture and Extended Media from Virginia Commonwealth University.
