Paula Carabell

Paula Carabell received her PhD in Art History from Columbia University and has made scholarly contributions in the fields of both Contemporary and Italian Renaissance Art. Recent publications include, “Photography and Redemption: History, Theology and Artistic Practice in Thomas Struth’s Early Cityscapes,” RES: Anthropology and Aesthetics and “Dan Graham, Reality Television and the Vicissitudes of Surveillance,” Visual Culture in Britain. Professor Carabell is currently an instructor at Mass College of Art and Design and has also taught at such institutions as Pratt Institute and the Rhode Island School of Design.
