Each week will feature a short lecture on relevant design topics, such as principles of space organization, considerations of natural and artificial light, and narrative storytelling through design. Additionally, the course will introduce universal design, custom detailing, and the selection of appropriate materials for projects. Students will receive ongoing critiques of their work as they progress through their designs and participate in a final review with guest critics.
