In the Lighting Lab course, students delve into the intricacies of lighting design, covering aspects such as energy efficiency, light level measurement, and the specification of lighting solutions tailored to diverse requirements.

Ideally scheduled concurrently or immediately following Design Studio Three, this course allows students to apply their design work from previous studios to real-world lighting scenarios. By leveraging their knowledge of architectural drawings and design principles, students can effectively integrate lighting solutions that enhance both functionality and aesthetics within interior spaces.

Through hands-on exercises and theoretical studies, students will develop proficiency in selecting and designing lighting systems that meet sustainable practices and client needs. This course prepares students to confidently navigate the technical and creative challenges inherent in contemporary interior lighting design.
