This online course features the following types of interaction:

  • Live meetings
  • Live critiques

Students apply knowledge of foundational design and typographic principles to produce effective visual communications for a targeted audience. The designer’s role and responsibilities including the development of design content and designing for user needs as well as client goals are explored.

Prerequisites: Foundations of Graphic Design, and a working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

This is an online/ZOOM class.  Zoom links are sent to registered students shortly before the course start date.

Teresita Olson is a freelance designer, founder and owner of Teresita Olson Design, LLC in Boston, a graphic design studio specializing in brand strategy, identity system design, and illustration. She received a BS from Rutgers University, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a Certificate in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
