Experience Design Studio is a seven-week remote course focused on the principles and practices of crafting meaningful and engaging experiences. Students work through a multi-step process to design a new experience from discovery through evaluation, ultimately presenting their work as a complete case study. Through hands-on project work, presentations, class discussion and critique, students explore research, user-centered design, experience mapping, prototyping, and user testing across both digital and physical contexts. At the end of this course, students are able to demonstrate an understanding of multidisciplinary approaches to creating products, services or systems that affect broader user and customer experiences. Students use Figma and Google Docs to create their course deliverables.
