Robert Gainfort

Rob Gainfort is the preparator for the Curatorial Programs Department at MassArt. Since 1994 he has been an art handler and general contractor specializing in museum and gallery exhibitions. He has worked as a preparator/carpenter at the Guggenheim Museum, Pace Wildenstein Gallery and the Dia/Beacon. Rob has worked directly with artists, curators and installation crews to design and execute dozens of exhibitions. He holds a BA from Hunter College and is a licensed Massachusetts state construction supervisor.
