Ellen Shortell is Professor of Art History at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she has taught courses in Medieval and Northern Renaissance Art since 1994. She received a Masters degree from Tufts University and a Ph.D. from Columbia University, with concentrations in pre-modern stained glass and Gothic architecture.
