Nat LaChall
Nat LaChall is a Teaching Artist who makes garments, wearable soft sculpture, installations and photography. Their work explores identity, history and politics. LaChall received a BFA in Sculpture from MassArt in 2006. They have continued to explore soft sculpture, pattern making and garment construction as a professional costumer for several Boston area theaters and cabaret performers. Most recently, they attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they received an MFA in Fashion, Body and Garment. They are now the Textiles Department Director at Lillstreet Art Center in Chicago.
