Juan-Pablo Cárdenas

Juan-Pablo Cárdenas is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Indigenous Arts of the Americas in the History of Art Department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He holds a Ph.D. in Latin American Studies and an M.A. in Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he earned an M.F.A. from the University of Delaware and graduated with a B.F.A. from MassArt in 2009. His research focuses on Indigenous cosmologies, ecocritical and postcolonial theory in visual arts, material culture, film and narratives.
