Barbara Ward

Barbara Ward has been the director and curator of Moffatt-Ladd House and Garden, a national historic landmark in Portsmouth, NH, for more than ten years and formerly taught furniture history at the University of Delaware in the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture. She has edited and contributed to numerous publications, including the Encyclopedia of New England Culture and the Journal of American Folklore. Barbara holds a BA from Connecticut College and an MA and PhD in American and New England Studies from Boston University.
