Continuing education classes are being taught remotely. Studio classes have live remote meetings. Basic requirements to take a class are an internet connection, computer, and an internet linked camera (like a cell phone). Most classes will be hosted through Zoom or MassArt Moonami. This online course features the following types of interaction:

An introduction to relief printing, exploring woodcut and related processes. Of all printmaking techniques, the relief printing is the most ancient. It is a process characterized by an appealing directness of making an image and by the simplicity of its graphic and expressive qualities. In this course, participants learn how to carve and create bold compositions using both traditional and experimental relief techniques. Participants explore color woodcuts and reduction methods using proper registration and practicing hand printing.
