Fall 2020 continuing education classes are being taught remotely. Studio classes have live remote meetings. Basic requirements to take a class are an internet connection, computer, and an internet linked camera (like a cell phone). Most classes will be hosted through Zoom or MassArt Moonami. This online course features the following types of interaction:

  • Live meetings

Students will learn techniques for observational still life drawing as well as the narrative qualities of objects and compositions. We will look and make work inspired by artwork from artists who deal with the rich subject of still life through history.  

 

Will Suglia is a Boston based artist working mostly in painting at his studio in Charlestown. His figurative work deals with subjects of narrative, culture and tradition.  Will received his MFA in painting from MassArt in 2016, and has been working and showing around Boston and New York.
