Flexible pictures is a mixed media course designed to open creative terrain in your art-making beyond the constraints of drawing, painting, printmaking and photography processes. Various combinations of those techniques mentioned spark possibilities for new expressivity, and innovation inside your practice. Multimedia experiments support an individualized approach, paving the way to considering narrative and concept making in fresh ways. Some techniques may include collage, transfers, monoprinting, mixing wet and dry media, working with seriality and more.
James Lambert is an artist specializing in painting, sculpture and paper-making. His work has been exhibited internationally, and was most recently published in New American Paintings, the New England edition.
