Explore everything it takes to succeed as a freelance graphic designer or illustrator in this 3-session boot camp. We’ll cover everything from marketing and pricing your work to writing proposals and contracts to managing clients and delivering work. Lectures will feature real-world client case studies and students are encouraged to share their freelance experiences during class discussions. Sample client communications, proposals, contracts, and invoices will be provided.
Joe Quackenbush is the Chairperson of the Communication Design department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA, where he teaches courses in typography, interaction design, information architecture, design research, and professional practice.
