Continuing education classes are being taught remotely. Studio classes have live remote meetings. Basic requirements to take a class are an internet connection, computer, and an internet linked camera (like a cell phone). Most classes will be hosted through Zoom or MassArt Moonami. This online course features the following types of interaction:

  • Live meetings
  • Live critiques

Students will learn basic principles of business and entrepreneurship and create a business plan for their own creative entrepreneurial ventures. Tools used for marketing, finance and strategic planning will be explored. Lectures will include case studies on the strategies being employed by both established players and newer startups. The class will focus on various examples of entrepreneurship and students are invited to create business plans for a variety of industries.
