Except for a very few classes, Continuing Education classes are being taught remotely. Studio classes have live remote meetings. Basic requirements to take a class are an internet connection, computer, and an internet linked camera (like a cell phone). Most classes will be hosted through Zoom or MassArt Moonami. Digital Illustration is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with a focus on building digital images. We will explore useful techniques in these software programs specifically geared to visual communication in the form of illustration. Through the use of scanners, drawing tablets, digital cameras and traditional mediums, we will create original digital images. Assignments will emphasize traditional image building skills and final execution will be done digitally.
