This online course features the following types of interaction:
- Live meetings
- Live critiques
Each session of this course introduces the class to a different prompt that can be explored through drawing, collage, painting or mixed media. While each prompt relates to some aspect of abstract picture making, you won’t need prior understanding about abstraction as a grand topic. Rather, use each week to jostle, complicate and find deeper curiosity in your present visual interests. Class sessions will be online, and involve outgoing and lively conversations about the groups’ results each week. A slide presentation and videos introduce each new experiment.
