Summer and Fall 2020 continuing education classes are being taught remotely. Studio classes have live remote meetings. Basic requirements to take a class are an internet connection, computer, and an internet linked camera (like a cell phone). Most classes will be hosted through Zoom or MassArt Moonami. For specific course requirements, contact the CE office at ce@massart.edu or your instructor. Fall classes are still being added--check again soon.

Address business issues important to practicing artists and designers. Fine art and design are intimately connected with many disciplines and studies. Professional Practice and Creative Economy courses and workshops explore the application of art and design methodologies outside of the studio.

The purpose of this course is to support and facilitate the development and active launch of student owned businesses. Foundational principles of entrepreneurship, strategy, marketing, and finance are learned through practice and hands on experience. Professional network building is emphasized with mentors, guest lecturers and visiting entrepreneurs sharing their expertise.
